Zenith Type 20 Extra Special 40mm Bronze Review

Back in July 25th of 1909 a French aviator by the name of Louis Blériot  piloted the first airplane flight over the English Chanel.  Luck would have it for Zenith that he had on one of their wristwatches on his wrist for the crossing.  In this in depth video review I’ll take a look the new for 2018 Zenith Type 20 Extra Special 40mm bronze which takes its inspiration from the one worn by Blériot.

The Zenith Type 20 Extra Special 40mm bronze has a retail price of $5,700 USD

Not a handsome watch for my taste. Reminds me too much of a Timex Weekender. For the price, I could get a decent pre-owned pickup truck.

It is about 4.7k over-priced!

Looks handsome.

Amit from Israel says:

well it is a nice watch but the caseback is boring and the price is an absurd

Anon Ymous says:

for $5,700 I would want the real plane. The writing on the side makes it look like an Invicta. Actually the dial saying extra special makes it worth it…….

Zenith is a brand worth nothing….
I see collectors collect Rolex, Hulbot, AA, AP, even tudor.
but I haven’t seen them collect any Zenith
