William Miller says:

How is my Rolex NOT elegant?! :-

joseph de beauvoir says:

have the HW version! but same dial. love zeniths

William Miller says:

I love my Rolex Submariner Two Tone and wear it all the time, pun intended.

moludrums says:

you often forget to look straight to the camera…

Bill Cosgrave says:

I agree. I am getting tired of Rolex and all the excessive hype. I love the El Primero and wear mine all the time.

Clyve Watch-Wrangler says:

Nice outfit. You should complete the look with a fedora and a submachine gun.

c0epL says:

Und schon ist die Uhr wieder zum Verkauf? Da hat es sich wohl um eine kurze Rolexabstinenz gehandelt.

Machismo1983 says:

The first YouTube watch reviewer who dresses well enough that wearing a Rolex actually looks in keeping with their style.

I appreciate your sartorial elegance, keep it up.

Tim Schubardt says:

Great video. Have you ever been to Glasshütte?:)

elom44 says:

Is it this watch that you have for sale on Chrono24 at the moment?

Martin R. Krause says:

Ever thought about a vintage Seiko Chronograph? 6139 or 6138. They were released a month before the El Primero (so it should be named El Secondo), are automatic columns wheel, vertical clutch chronographs and you can still get some under 1000€.

Jeffrey Wood says:

Thank you Tim, I have been interested in Zenith for a while now as an under the radar luxury watch. This video was very informative and helpful 🙂

blazinmark1 says:

Why did Rolex decided to use the El-Primero mvmt?

crownmover says:

For 2k that’s a bargain. I could imagine that it will appreciate in the future.

Vlad TheImpaler says:

A handsome man, beautiful outfit, excellent review of the excellent watches! Bravo! Keep it up!

DG B says:

ThanksTim, there is a , I think quite rare, the Rainbow Flyback, it is colourful, originally order for the French army. A beautiful watch I missed a few years back, ref 02.480.405. In my eyes the most sexy Zenith. Cheers.

Stuff Station 1 says:

Nice review- I’ve been eyeing up an EP Chronomaster triple date moonphase. For the money what a great proposal and a 36,000 vph. You’ll be paying minimum triple that if it were a Rolex.

Lloyd Garth says:

Man, are they ever nice! I want two of them — one with a black dial and one with a white dial. Looking good!

Bill Brandon says:

this is the one i want!….thank you…wish i could see your concert but its a long way from Ohio…haha

Cedar Canoe says:

Beware of buying a Zenith, the vintage El Primero movement was prone to many issues, hence why Rolex changed it completely it for use in their chronographs. Rolex even lowered the beat rate

Adriano Nast says:

Agreed. I have a Rolex too and wear my El Primero for the same reasons.

Helldorado says:

Your opinion on the El Primero Classic Cars model ? I am considering it as my first luxury purchase. Danke!

Mad Man says:

Right there but Rolex 4030 was modified in several ways. Most important it was reduced to 28.800 bph for longer service intervals.

Johnny Guitare says:

Tim, congratulations on two counts: the zoot suit and the El Primero. I almost purchase this very watch 18 years ago, and went for an Elite instead. I wish I had bought the chronograph, it would probably get more wrist time these days. The other Zenith Chronograph worth mentioning is the El Primero Flyback – a fantastic watch, either in full black or “rainbow” version. Other great value to be found, despite an increase in price recently: the Minerva Pythagore II in 38mm with the caliber 48.

Ian Gault says:

Totally agree. I have one and its a beautiful piece. In every respect the equal of the Daytona in my opinion
