That placement of the pt 950 seems like something a much lower brand would do. Seems tacky to me.

The PT 950 text in the dial ruins the whole thing. It’s supposed to be conservative and fly under the radar, hence the blank case back and steel-looking platinum. Marking the material on the dial like that is just bragging off and tasteless.

I assume that the main reason for the closed case back is the size of the caliber 1400. The diameter is only 20.65mm so it wouldn’t look good with the 40mm case. The smaller 36mm version (81530) has sapphire case back even though it’s equally slim.
