Hey Tim –

Just loved your examples of lateral vs vertical clutch.  Spot on! 🙂
BTW, are there many differences in terms of architecture, manufacturing, finishing, etc. on chronos with jumping minute counters?
Is the latter more precise?

Thx

Great show! It’s a mystery to me why you don’t have more subscribers. I suggest adding some additional content such as WUW in depth tour, vlogs, interviews and collaborations with other YouTubers like TGV , WatchesTv and others.

Jim Slagone says:

Again, love your content guys. Amazing value 😉

codecow says:

That’s a tough one. My heart says Laurent Ferrier but my mind says VC; namely because of service issues down the line.

Nader N says:

wow, another Nader!

IMO No Contest…..Laurent Ferrier

Jared Golden says:

What is your email for submitting questions for monday mailbag?

cowillz says:

Love the content guys, but the lack of focus on the macro shots is frustrating. Any possibility you guys could mount the camera pointed down to a table and turn off autofocus? May help get crisp, fast macro shots by just putting the watches on a table under the camera.

Gia Bảo Luxury says:

VERY COOL!

Roelf van der Merwe says:

That Laurent Ferrier…… Christ almighty.

Ajanth Wimalaganthan says:

Hi I’m looking to make my first luxury watch purchase. I have some lower end watches skx007, orients, a laco friedrichshafen, and a squale sub homage. Looking at the Tudor black bay red really love the vintage look and the fact that it’s got heritage and Rolex behind it. Not sure if I should be looking to get the ETA version or the more recent in house movement any suggestions or other watches at this price point I should be considering ?

marker20 says:

Your mini macro camera is the worst. By the time you get the watch in the frame, at the proper viewing angle, and in focus, you’ve already taken the watch away. You really need to improve on showing watches first and foremost on your channel. It’s really annoying when you have all these great watches sitting out on the table and we rarely get to see any of them for any substantial and focused period of time.

Seb Jouin says:

Hi Tim, thanks for answering my question about Moser but it was Moser vs the 976 AND the Santos so the price point is roughly aligned. Thanks for your answer anyway, you are right on risk vs super classic. Still not sure what I’m gonna do 😀 Do you feel the 976 will see a successor? (As in steel reverso with display case back)

Steven UK1 says:

IWC.. the old 3706 Pilot 40mm is very good and hope you don’t mind.. much better than the later larger models.

Matthew Deacon says:

I have a friend with whom I’m discussing ETA, and we’re stuck on the differences between top and chronometer… is it the case that chronometer have different/additional components and/or finishes from top? simply more adjustment from the factory? or just that chronometer grade movements are issued exclusively to certain brands and/or are bound for COSC? Please allow me to emphasize that we’re wondering if anyone knows all of and exactly the differences between top grade and chronometer grade. Thank you!!
