Win the rare Tudor Heritage Black Bay “Black Rose” 79220N:

Watch buyers, watch collectors, and even those who occasionally sell watches know that Watches Live with Tim Mosso is the place to look, dream, and browse for your next luxury timepiece.

This week’s selection of premier luxury watch brands includes a standout from Ressence of Belgium and Switzerland: the Ressence Type 1 Squared 1RS. This sensational planetary display regulator watch is crafted from high-polished stainless steel and capped with an expansive box section sapphire crystal. The ruthenium coated dial includes swirling displays of day, hour, minute, and seconds. Inside the case, Ressence’s ROCS movement module teams with a dead reliable ETA 2824-2 automatic Swiss movement.

Patek Philippe’s Nautilus 5711 and its evil twin, the Piaget Polo S Automatic, do battle for the hearts and minds of watch buyers. Is the Nautilus seven times the watch that the Piaget is? Tim investigates…

High complications have their day as the IWC Portuguese Tourbillon Mystere, the Patek Philippe 5016G minute repeater/perpetual calendar/retrograde/tourbillon, and the Jaeger LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar raise the stakes (and the list prices) for collectors who vie to own the ultimate luxury watch statement piece.

Plenty of solid values make an appearance on the show: Omega’s 2018 Seamaster Diver 300M, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M in 39.5mm size, and the 2018 Oris Diver’s Sixty Five Bronze Stainless Steel 40mm present attractive watches at attainable prices.

Steve Markham says:

Great show. Will you ever team-up with Josh again for reviews? I always enjoyed your joint perspectives.

James Lin says:

Great show! I enjoyed the surprise zenith chronomaster xxt… I actually wore my black dial version today, one I hadn’t worn in months, so that was a fun coincidence. I also fell in love with the black version and it was my first real time piece. Agree the brown version looks fantastic as well.

kjparlay says:

Ok Tim, I’m gonna need that Punch & Judy style segment between 2 watches each week from here on, alright?

Lil0990 says:

I for one, like the Piaget Nautinaut

Aasa C says:

I think 5712R kills the VC oversea….

MRMichael Lepp says:

20:38 hahahahaha god bless you Tim.

Ariaditya Pramestu says:

I think once in a while you should do videos that more like telling a story. I love your videos because i can see a lot of watches in one video as well as your no frills 1 minute review videos present wham bam thank you mam facts about the physical and visual aspects of the watches. But people especially outside your usual audience are more easily drawn if there is narrative, look at watchfinder or any other watch channels that on average per video have more views.
Gotta say you are the best one in term of quantity and pure hard facts.

SpaghettiKillah says:

I agree with the others: that chocolaty VC killed the show!!!!

Mohd Redzuan Devan Abdullah says:

Hi Tim. Great content. Could you do a GP laureato vs PP nautilus please.

John Smith says:

Oh my god that patek

jason starek says:

Holy cow, that VC 2nd gen with big date…eat your heart out Royal Oak and Nautilus.

I like the Nautilus, but I don’t get the gray market madness…I’d take the Polo S. It offers far better value and is quite good looking.

I love the new Omega 300m, l Think I might need to pick one up. Please don’t offer one pre-owned before Christmas…my wife would kill me.

Lastly, glad you gave a shout out to the value offered by Oris. I just picked up the Williams F1 limited from Watchbox. Love Oris as a company.

Bobby Smith says:

Awesome all the hard word is paying off….for me its like going to school an learning about all these awesome timepieces by far my favorite was the Patek Philippe minute reapeater…..a lil out of my league but an awesome timepiece.

joel raine says:

Have the same wrist size as you , 16 cm. Really interested in seamaster 300 41 or 42, hard to tell in camera – would the new 42 look to big ? Thanks love the vids

Hamish Carpenter says:

Tim, can I get a price on the blue strap seamaster? Thank you

OllieG Hamster says:

The Zenith is beautiful. Very unique case. Love it.

Edward Black says:

When my eyes are tired I find full hands better than skeleton hands so planet ocean would be my choice

Bobby Smith says:

Great show Tim…..sounds like you were having fun awesome watches.

Alan L says:

Fantastic show tonight indeed.

Keitumetse Mabuza says:

First time I see Tim as a new first week subscriber

jumboJetPilot says:

Awesome show! I’ve actually liked the Polo S from the start. Honestly, if you scratched the name of the maker off the dials of both then I’d choose the Polo S. I The blue dial version of the Polo S looks even better in my opinion. I tend to think the Nautilus is nautically themed whereas the Polo S is more Art Deco themed. But you’re definitely right, they do look extremely similar! Just like others out there, Piaget needs to considerably expand the dial offerings. I’ll take mine in forest green, burgundy red, or copper with blued steel indices, hands, and dial printing.

Edward Black says:

The Piaget looks really nice.

o neph. says:

Are all these watches used?
If so what would make an owner to sell his watch in such a great shape probably not keeping it long

george varughese says:

That VC is 100X better than the AP Chrono or Nautilus Chrono. Just beautiful. WOW. Great show Tim!

Jack Serious says:

That new Omega seamaster deserves an award!

Gary Allum says:

Your contest ended earlier than stated. Why ?

AndréFelipe says:

“Ehhh, It will take some wealth” HAHAHA Great comment regarding that Patek,Tim 😉

Amintas Neto says:

Great show Tim.
Boy, the green Laurent Ferrier Galet is super cool!
Now on the PP 5016 the minute repeater chime its is simply breathtaking, OMG!!
No wonder it’s share the same value of a beautiful house…with all merits to be honest!!

Burning MrB says:

Awesome show

WatchBox Reviews says:

I want to clarify that IWC *did* have wristwatch tourbillon watches before the 5042 — DaVinci Tourb ref. 3752 and Destriero Scafusia ref. 1868 — but I meant to say this was the first **tourbillon Portuguese.** It seemed like a late-bloomer because IWC had a Portuguese minute repeater as far back as 1995!

Keitumetse Mabuza says:

That VC at the end will drive you crazy, what a beaut.
