Tomasina Covell says:

So much more real, and real horology than the contemporary trash.

MrSCRIBR says:

Dude I love your vids but the audio on this is rubbish

Ragnar Oerensson says:

To be honest, I don’t really understand what’s so outstanding about the watch. Can’t find anything special about it form a technical perspective and I also find it to be very boring and just, yeah, ugly in a way. Of course this is just my opinion and I respect people that do whatever they can to acquire one, but there are so many more interesting watches for the same price point or less. Most of the independents (F.P.Journe, Philippe Dufour and the like) deliver much more quality for the money in my eyes.

By the way the retail price is $29,800 USD, patek increased prices by 20% as of the 1st of March for the 5711 and the 5712

sypen1 says:

Isn’t it 30k now since they increased the price by 20%

DLH says:

Homage of Royal Oak!

RobReports says:

Can’t believe it is so expensive, bill of material of that watch is around $100-400 dollars.

GuitarD30 says:

I don’t get the obsession. This watch does nothing for me

Matt Stevens says:

The white date window is so pathetic. Unacceptable on a watch that now costs 30 grand… IF you can deal with the years long waiting list and actually get one.

Abhishek Srivastava says:

This watch was great in 70s. now its design is average.

Constantine Makro says:

terrible sound

usrvprogram says:

What a monumental rip off. Anyone who pays that much for that watch is an irreparable idiot.

Christopher Wood -MDH- says:

Overpriced ugly POS.

mr bacchus says:

Reminds me of an old timey tv for some reason. Maybe the shape

Rafael says:

just one of the ugliest. what shape is that bezel anyway? the royal oak design is beautiful. so is the VC overseas. the reverso is also a sports watch and that is also beautiful. if you stop drinking the patek genta cool aid you’ll realize that of the top dollar sports watches, it’s the ugliest.

W C says:

01:52 I’m crying… ;)) People don’t pay so much for this because it’s “comfortable and thin”…

crackedcookies says:

Hire a video editor or producer or something. That’s enough bad videos from this channel for me.

George Yang says:

I’m assuming Ariel was in a rush, and held in a room at gunpoint to churn out this video by Mr Patek himself. What was with the poor audio and weird cadence in speech? Clearly distracted while filming.

Fluffy Kitten says:

Ariel trolling with the cheapest of the watches then shows up with a 5711 from far left field.

Alfred Chu says:

Where can you find one?

Archer says:

Yes, it’s a great watch.
But it is most definitely overpriced.
This is a watch for people who have plenty of money to insouciantly toss to the wind.

mr bacchus says:

I’m just thinking how much fun I could have buying and selling Seiko, micro, vintage etc over buying this for 30 grand

mike hendrix says:

there are overpriced watches and then there are patek phillips

WarGamingRefugee says:

Ah, good; he got his audio distortion circuit working again.

Mrajere says:

Sorry the sound is terrible

Vadim Don says:

Why is it so expensive.

Saagar Chohan says:

Please somebody buy me this

Jablow Maikok says:

Always thought it was ugly, prefer AP

Andrew says:

ripperx444 says:

This is one of your best videos.

Watch Addiction Watch Reviews says:
