Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700: Omega Seamaster, FP Journe Monopusher, Sports Watches & Complicaitons

Win my Oris Artix Audi Sport GMT:

Watch buyers and watch enthusiasts join Tim Mosso for a discussion of top luxury watch selection. The bad news? No Rolex watches; I gave Geneva’s giant the night off. The good news: everything else. Tim has assembled a fleet of Watchbox flagships including a vintage Omega Seamaster, Patek Philippe grand complications, the original Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700 “Jumbo,” and a very special mission timer from Sinn uhren of Germany. The Richard Mille RM011 makes an appearance with an additional complication rarely seen on Richard Mille’s signature sports watch. The 2018 Zenith Defy collection is represented by Tim’s favorite Zenith watch of this year’s Baselworld. Jaeger LeCoultre is represented by the epic Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, and Zenith, JLC’s counterpart from Le Locle, tag-teams its Defy Classic with a Zenith El Primero Pilot Doublematic for fans of wristwatch complications and pre-owned watch value. Ball watches, a brand rarely featured on Watches Live, gets some love in the form of a tritium-lit chronograph with a bank-vault solidity and impressive attention to engineering details. Finally an IWC Portofino represents Schaffhausen’s least-seen current model line. Watches Live starts now!

Revolution is okay, Watchtime is okay, HODINKEE is okay, Archieluxury is a bit less okay. The best source for watch information in my opinion is PuristsPro and Tim’s various videos.

Shamal Dass says:

I don’t ever want to see a JLC Hybris Mechanica 11 – I am not sure I could refuse the urges and what I would need to do have one (my children would be thankful as well!)

whinecough says:

Great stuff. Sometimes I can’t even believe how awesome the stuff you curate is, and how well you pull it all together into a coherent narrative that flows nicely. Brian should give you that minute repeater as an early Christmas bonus.

Mitchell Dolgin says:

The zenith doublematic on the rubber strap is a very nice combination. Is that a new piece or pre owned?

Cam M. says:

Tim, do you find that Revolution piece to be a bit of a Hodinkee ripoff? Odd release only 1 year apart. Seem to be riding the same faux vintage wave perhaps!

Amro Majzoubs says:

Chris Santosusso says:

Love that Zenith defy. Perfect everyday piece

F Poynton says:

Remarkably well done selection Tim. The Zenith blue dial and flat case structure with the sharp acute bezel interface is very sporty and eye catching – . The PPN exudes class – so thin with such gracious curves – looks like a dress watch – but it can swim. WK “s HC has a symmetrical sharp dial with great tones, a sportsmans flavor and tremendous style and presence – its a fantastic looking watch.

Ricky Chan says:

How about patek’s 3800 dimensions n vs the 3700?

PuYang7 says:

Looking forward for your Zenith Defy Classic review video :]

Naresh Pape says:

Thanks Tim, and crew for another great show!

Love that Carrera Chronograph ‘Blue Dreamer’. What a perfect co-engineered/designed collaboration piece with Revolution + The Rake. Have to say the Skipper for Hodinkee is a gorgeous piece too.

Can you comment on the Heuer Autavia Jo Siffert x Calibre 11 Collectors Edition? In love with this piece, and must be for sale somewhere.
I think the Heuer Heritage Line is responding to the fans, and collectors alike. I saw a video where Jean-Claude Biver was almost to apologizing to his customers for the ‘TAG’ branding.

Kind Regards,

Watch Aficionado says:

Love the Zenith Doublematic…..the nautilus on the other hand looks like a 1960s tv…(maybe even a zenith tv).

Anastase Papoortzis says:

Hi Tim. This Omega Seamaster 300 is really special! Great show tonight!

Awesome watches Tim! Love the blue dial Zenith, will you be doing an individual review on this one?

Aaron Edgerton says:

OMG! That F.P. Journe is incredible, absolutely love it. Thank you Tim and crew. Great show

Tru Lai says:

That JLC tourbillon is truly a work of art.

LiquidSm0ke says:

Love the fp if only it was in white gold or platinum Maybe when I win the lottery lol

Ian Gault says:

Great video as always. Must try to discipline myself to stay awake and watch live. Difficult here in Qatar at GMT+3 though and with me being an Old Fart needing all the nap time I can get. 🙂 .

Eric Slofer says:

Tim please expand your reviews everyone is so tired of the same old same old !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

todd - says:

Plenty of delightful big boy toys, tonight. Great job, team. Keep the Sinn coming

John H says:

That RM gives me a migraine. In regards to the first Zenith, I can dig it but it really is a bit bland; I’m eye balling the Captain GMT on the website 😉

barack obama says:

Something about this guy I just can’t stand…
