Clash of the Titans: Patek Philippe vs A. Lange & Söhne | Watchfinder & Co.

Watchfinder & Co. presents:

This is it. This is the big one. In one corner, you’ve got Patek Philippe, king of the watchmaking trifecta, and in the other, you’ve got A. Lange & Söhne, the crisp, clinical perfectionist. It’s Switzerland versus Germany, classic watchmaking versus polished efficiency, and what better way to fight this fight than with some flagship watches from each brand. This is going to be good.

Dave C says:

I will never, ever be close to buying either however, the A. Lange movement makes the PP look simply pedestrian. If I was a multi-millionaire and able to shell out for the PP, I’d be pretty pissed once I saw the A. Lange. An absolute masterpiece

Taka Smaka says:

Poland vs Germany Patek was pole

P Hanley says:

ALS is far more of a complicated movement and thus, dial. Sloppy depth cutouts on the Patek is borderline Seiko, as is the simple dial produced by every watch maker under $1k. Patek needs to get back in the game, as it stands right now, I wouldn’t consider a Patek if I had to pay for it. That ALS is astoundingly beautiful.

K says:

Impossible to decide…

Conrad Bo says:

It is great that both these watches exist, and that there is a demand for them both.

Ming Zong says:

This is watch porn

Seth Phillips says:

I would have to go with the A Lange & Sohne, one reason is its just so fun to say. The most polarizing reason however is the watch is STUNNING! When you have a movement that incredible I appreciate the extra bulk, I like the efficient use of space and than the asymmetrical moon phase just pops at the center without being too wild. For me there is no better movement for a chronograph. If we were talking sports watches I would have a much more difficult time choosing between the titans like AP, Patek, Vacheron, Rolex, IWC. Thats my two cents

Robert Ivan says:

I’ll have to go with the A Lange & Söhne I love the way the face looks I’ll deal with the extra mm in thickness and shorter reserve it just looks much nicer to me.

Ric Stix says:

Look how much smoother the hands move on the Patek than that of the Lange

SANJACK DJ says:

Patek 🙂

Luis YL says:

If need the date = A. Lange
If you need a pulsometer = A. Lange
If you don’t like date = PP
If you just need a run of your money = close eyes pick one

deranged says:

Definitely Lange for me. Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Handwerkskunst is my dream watch… Hope you can review it in the future…

Pulsonar says:

… I was happy as pie watching my grail watch Rolex GMT master II on a vid a few minutes ago, now it looks like a bad quality Chinese fake compared to these Renoir calibre masterpieces! Maybe I should join the Casio faithful now and call it a day.

Muntasir Jalal says:

A. Lange & Söhne hands down

Nicholas Hartanto says:

Best episode ever. IDK what’s the deal with those 25 people who disliked this video. Smh

titan90000 says:

A. Lange & Söhne

They are both amazing works of art, and I would proudly wear either. But, the A. Lange & Söhne just speaks to me. Also, I am of German ancestry so German efficiency is in my blood.

Ranjan Sarma says:

Donald Trump wears Patek Phillipe. Vladimir Putin wears A Lange Sohne.

tatshore says:

Prefer a.lange much nicer looking

Philip Allen says:

The Lange is just so much more interesting to look at

Abhilash Kesav says:

A L & S, seems to have better case back than PP.

KiwiPokerPlayer says:

A. Lange & Sohne without a doubt. The Swiss are good, but the Germans (and Japanese) have overtaken them with respect to beauty, quality and innovation. ALS beats Patek and GS beats Rolex.

Nguyễn Khánh says:

Patek lovers, where are you ?

Dan Paraschivoiu says:

Lange is just superb ❤️

jared packer says:

Don’t wanna fall in love with A. Lange & Sohne? Never ever set foot in one of their Boutiques, and never handle a Datograph.

Ric Stix says:

Hands down the Patek Philippe

Artur Garncarz says:

Both masterpieces! Each costs more than my apartment! WTF world?

Indigo Five Alpha says:

This dude could read a shampoo’s sticker out loud and I’d still be mesmerized by the narrative.

Brian Detweiler says:

This might be your best video yet. I’ll take the ALS if you’re holding a gun to my head.

Peter B says:

A. Lange & Söhne , think its the German in me.

Hormazd Irani says:

The German wins, I think …..

dpodein says:

Patek

timurpielesiak says:

CZAPEK Cz = Ch —-> Chapek

Pavol Vavro says:

ALS all day long! PP is from my POV overrated.

beschuitfluiter says:

AL&S for me; better thought practical design as you stated, and that movement is just porn!

GhostDiver says:

Watching this video reminds me of why I haven’t subscribed to this channel: because all videos end the same way- completely inconclusive, leaving me with more questions than answers.
Here we have a head to head ‘vs’ video. The winner? Who f*cking knows, because this channel never gives an actual opinion on any watch. Just glorified advertisements.

Terry Whitworth says:

The Patek wins for me, on sheer beauty.
