After hearing that Omega were releasing this “Spectre” Limited Edition take on the Seamster 300, I knew as soon as I saw the publicity photo’s that I wanted this to be my second watch.
I got in contact with Omega in early September to see if I could request a specific serial number (the year I was born) seeing as there are only 7,007 pieces.
To cut a long story short the watches had already been dispatched across the world to Omega Boutiques and jewellers etc, the team at Omega tried their best but unfortunately by the time they had located where in the world the watch had been sent to, it had already sold.
Nevertheless I was undeterred in wanting to own one of these stunning timepieces and on September 26th, I made a visit down to the Omega Boutique on Regent ST, London and picked up my very own.
Omega’s own write up of the watch is as follows:
This marks the first time that the model worn by 007 is released as a limited edition.
THE SEAMASTER 300 “SPECTRE” LIMITED EDITION
Submerged in tradition, the OMEGA Seamaster 300 has a deep history in underwater adventure. With the release of the 24th James Bond film SPECTRE, 007 returns with this iconic timepiece, updated with a new edge of innovation and attitude.
This unique Seamaster 300, the actual model worn by James Bond in SPECTRE, comes in a robust stainless steel case with a sleek, black and grey striped NATO strap. Inside, the watch is powered by the OMEGA Master Co-Axial calibre 8400, a revolutionary movement that is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.
Engravings include the ‘007’ gun logo on the strap holder, and the ‘SPECTRE’ film title on the caseback.
To complete the timepiece, the bi-directional rotating bezel is also black, this time made from polished ceramic. Combined with a LiquidMetal® 12 hour scale, time can be kept with any country in the world.
Thanks for watching, Mark.

Nice
just curious of the price, how much is this?
Big Omega fan but this is the first Bond watch I didn’t like.
Got the Casino Royale Seamaster 300m diver (before they took the waves off the face and ruined it) and the Skyfall Seamaster Planet Ocean but this one…. Struck no chords sadly.
I went with TDSotM instead, similar style beautiful box.
Still a pleasure to watch, good job and grats on the timepiece.
nice
Are you holding the camera with one hand for these videos?
Awesome
I’m jealous. Beautiful watch.
beautiful
Im very jealous. I want that :S omg.
I bought it and it doesn’t explode
Way Cool! Thanks Mark I’m buying one now!
Is it number 0018 by chance, if it is it shows it on your box. Great watch by the way.
I’m drooling over this masterpiece of a watch….
beautiful!
Hey it have to be a leather crocodile strap, everybody know now. First of all its a armor amor’, and then it’s familiar by live in the swamp.
Say Whay! Polishes.
4.40 minutes of box review in 13 minutes watch review, but thanks..
Are there an alarm in it ?

Very nice video! Thanks! How much does it cost?
I thought bond has always worn a dive watch?. I think they have missed a small detail here. This isn’t a dive watch because a dive watch bezel should only move in a anti clock wise direction un like this watch…. Planet Ocean’s are very nice, I’ve owned one in the past and I think that they should have stuck with that model. Anyhow enjoy the watch and nice video.
So this particular model has no helium escape valve? I must say I like this version much better. It has that vintage look and I never really cared for that HEV on the upper left of the watch case like so many of the Seamasters have.
Gorgeous and thank you for taking the time and effort in doing this for us!
plz use a tripod so that u can do videos freely
really nice video! really do like this watch, what did you record your video with?
Its a beautiful watch….great video..
Great unboxing. Just got one myself. I think one of only three left in the Beverly Hills/West Los Angeles, CA, USA area. I absolutely love the watch and the NATO strap. Enjoy your timepiece in good health!
so is it really pronounced o-mee-ga or o-mega ?
Great vid!
🙂
