kapullas says:

Amazing how they managed to put a minute repeater and a tourbillon in such a thin frame. Wirstband without stitching is also nice.

beautiful watch indeed

absoftitanium says:

I note a number of people making critical comments about this watch. I think their opinions have no relevance since the chances of any of them being a potential customer for a $400,000 watch is somewhere between zero and sweet bugger all. Funny thing is, I actually COULD buy this watch. But I’d have to sell my house, put the mortgage onto the watch, and live in a van down by the river.

H171001 says:

And I’m sitting here with my plain AP Royal Oak. Damnit

This timepiece is absolutely gorgeous. I love that you can see the weight and the tourbillon in the face’s windows.

OneWay J says:

this is a master piece of all time

Fredrik Nilsson says:

It amazes me how some guys totally understand a $500,000 Koni, or Paganai or 599GTO or a $2mil Veyron, but a $400,000 watch that they don’t understand. its not about time or transportation.  Thats not what this is about folks. You either grow up with appreciation for complexity or you don’t, if you love cars then you know how watch people feel, its called horology. I have a perpetual calendar Lang, the watch guys know what I paid. But it will go up in value, I will not lose a cent, If you buy these watches right, like mint at Sotheby’s, use them 5 years, you make money wearing them, its labour and labour alway goes up in value, like gold. I have never lost money on a piece of horology, but I don’t buy new in a boutique either, i’m not crazy.

Tzu Hsuan Cheng says:

oh. my. god.

Alex K. says:

Also want to add that the implementation of an almost invisible rotor being stuffed into such a slim case (8mm), located between the platine (freely visible through the sapphire back), the tourbillon and the striking mechanism is mindblowing.

meyoumovie says:

Wow, Just Beautiful !

Champaroo says:

isn’t flying tourbillion made by Chinese and sold for cheap?

Simon Mctavish says:

Pretty excellent!

Unbelievable, I have a love affair with JLC. Let’s all agree to drop AP from the holy trinity and add JLC.

Ahsonloh1213 says:

Love the simplicity of it … so majestic .

Denis França says:

The beauty of “simplicity”. Minute Repeater is one of the most difficult complications. The sound is unique. Great watch.

artefact says:

Be still my heart.

ryvr madduck says:

I understand now why JLC named this the “Hubris.”
