Great review…..the next generation!  Remember everyone always comes back to the crown!

Windmill360 says:

Great review, but it’s a GMT watch, not a world timer.

TheRock1961rock says:

I believe–correct me if I’m wrong– the JLC, Patek, and Lange world/dual times all just have hour jumps, whereas Breguet has the second time independently setable (guess it only matters for India, but I think it also makes it easier if you want to reverse setting of home/travel–I’d prefer the larger display to be wherever I am).  I’ve thought about dual times a few times as I travel a lot, but in the end always found something else I’d rather spend the money on.  For this JLC, you’re adding a lot to price for the dual time compared to the standard Master.   My favorites overall in dual time are the Beguet and the Lange 1 (white gold Lange 1 dual is sharp, some think dial is difficult to read, but I love it and had no problem understanding).

The finishing isn’t up there with top guys. They haven’t even polished the edges of the m/ment pieces. It’s machine made but v.nice all the same.

Greg Mieg says:

I like your opinions and description but cut the ‘reallys’ down. Work on your adjectives

DLH says:

The movement finish is nothing special, no anglage… the watch is a glorified gmt cannot be compared to any worldtime.

James Miner says:

A 6-year old kid just described a watch as the “best ever made” by saying “really, really good” a bunch of times. YouTube is a strange place.

Rob Logan says:

I will say this, JLC definitely does not get enough credit for not only being a great watch manufacture, but also a supplier of movements to various haute horology companies. I like this watch and would totally rock this. As for whether or not it is a world time watch or a GMT watch, I believe this to be a hybrid of sorts. A GMT watch does not show you cities around the world corresponding to the time zone you are in, yet this watch does not give them all at a glance like a world timer.
