Frederique Constant New Watches at Baselworld 2016

Frederique Constant has always been quite competitive when it comes to the pricing of their watches, but this year they even went further with the introduction of perpetual calendar watch positioned at 8’000.- Swiss Francs! Peter Stas, CEO of the brands, explains us how this was made possible and the success that they are encountering with their own connected watch.

Sean Mani says:

I’m curious to know which watch Dr. Stas (not Mr.btw…) is showcasing on his wrist during this interview… Anyone?

Caroline Mishelle says:

Beautiful watch!

Agustinus Biotamalo says:

They should have it with a small second and a bigger index. I think that would be more appealing. Just saying

Jack Nunez says:

that’s a great price

ProCelestialEmpire says:

I have high motivation to buy your product if you come up with an annual calendar + chronograph with similar price.

Amit from Israel says:

it is based on the Slimline-Moonphase which is amazing watch for less than $3000….I love this brand

扫盲工作不可放松 says:

Some Human beings are like cheap dogs, when they give you nice looking manufactured caliber with affordable price, you guys think it’s pretentious, when they add a full gold cases, you guys thinks it’s over priced, go buy your 2000€ cost 20000 tagged Patek, leave us alone.

chikpom says:

RIP seconds hand

Internationalnation says:

Please I have a question regarding this nice watch: is the rotor from Gold or other material? hope WatchesTV admin or some of the commenters help answering. Thanks

watchesali swiss says:

Erik Dahlgren says:

Gotta love the Gramatik playing in the background 🙂

扫盲工作不可放松 says:

People hate this brand because it reveal the real cost of all kind of complications, it destroyed the dreams of morons lol.

kuglepen64 says:

That is a strong price point. Totally unbeatable.

Marcus Soori says:

Unbelievable perpetual watch! On my grail list for sure! Frederique Constant has already one-upped Patek Philippe in that FC’s blue worldtimer has a defect-free time zone city disc (PP’s 2016 blue worldtimer “Sydney” is misplaced due to being stuck on DST). Now they release a more attractive and gentlemanly-sized perpetual calendar for around $10k?!?! Where will this (awesome) madness stop??

lemakeup13 says:

I love this brand. I used to consider this brand is the dupe of Girrard Perregaux but this brand is great. I have one and I wear it as an everyday watch. I loved mine with the art deco shape. it represents cocktail and classic. it is truly luxury accessible brand but with royal craftmanship and distinctive quality. I compared it with my triple price hefty pricey cartier watch and i found this brand wins all the way, minus the mainstream brand. i know cartier is lovely but this brand is amazing.

Agentxphile says:

I am liking this brand more and more. I think today they are under appreciated for price of what you get. Love the Perpetual!

ProCelestialEmpire says:

Dank jij Stas for pulling down the myth of perpetual calendar watch.

Andrew Steel says:

mb&f on wrist while promoting your brand. Awkward!

MrMeep1999 says:

love seeing the MB&F on your wrist in the background

Abhishek Srivastava says:

wow!!!! just wow!!!! I’m buying the perpetual calendar.
