Tonight, Tim Mosso and Jason Mane discuss luxury watch questions as asked by our collectors of new and vintage luxury timepieces. We open with a comparison of an Omega Seamaster and its unlikely rival, the Chopard LUC Time Traveler One. A viewer asks about collecting Rolex Submariners, so we offer a few Rolex Submariner and Rolex Sea-Dweller options that include recent and vintage models. A question about watchmaking leads to a review of lift angles and the Valjoux 7750. IWC watches come to the fore as we discuss the IWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Chronograph 3950-01 and its unique IWC watch travel time capability borrowed from Vogard. Finally, we compare Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph 26331ST to the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph generation three 5500. We end with a discussion of vintage Tudor advisor watches.

Hey Tim, find something that does moisturize your throat and gargle before sessions, like some singers do. Also, like you suggested, keep some beverage there. Lastly, I know you are under time constraints but, take a breath every fifteen seconds, at least. :^ )

Aston Martains interiors have been crap for last 15 plus years, its a joke really. Even the new generation unfortaintly disappoints. Cant believe a car that cost that much has such a terrible interior.

Thanks for the awesome IWC Timezoner Chrono info Tim! FYI…South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA has the following boutiques in ONE indoor mall: IWC, JLC, Lange, Panerai, Omega, Rolex, Vacheron, and Patek. A wonderful world of watches worthy of a destination vacation. Also…Torneau, Tourbillon (Swatch group high end boutique), Swatch, Cartier, Montblanc, Chopard, Piaget.

Joseph C. Cheng says:

Great show. Don’t know if Jason’s miming a bowtie (subtle) or if Tim’s “heroin addicted surrogate parent” (flagrant) made my day more, but I guess it doesn’t have to be a contest 😉

Jonathan Hodges says:

Great show. Always enjoy seeing you two together.

Holifard says:

Tim, you are a trooper, even when you need to stop talking and take a drink, you keep on going and finish the explanation. Good show again. thanks.

Jake Roth says:

No hacking for $30.000 = suckahhhhh

Jack Nunez says:

what do you think of the Rolex 16623 white dial ?

Steve Markham says:

Tim….if you ever stopped wearing your glasses on your head or styled your clothes differently I would unsubscribe. You rock that style. Also your comments are what makes the show….”like a heroin addicted step parent.”.

Tom Lucas says:

Hi Guy, great show! I was looking for a vintage Longines. Is it possible that longines had better and more finished watches as Patek or other high end brands? I talk about the period before the 40’s-50’sFrom what year on was Patek concidered to be the finised watch? Kind regards Tom
