A Week On The Wrist: The Breguet Classique Chonométrie

Here’s the thing. When most watch folks think of the best and brightest in high-end watchmaking today, we most often mention names like Patek Philippe, A. Lange & Söhne, F.P. Journe, Audemars Piguet, and Vacheron Constantin. For some strange reason, the name Breguet doesn’t usually make an appearance. Why? It’s hard to say, because Breguet, at least the historical brand, is absolutely the most important in all of watchmaking. But is Breguet of today the rightful heir to the brand that Abraham-Louis built, or is it simply another name chosen by a group of savvy investors from the headstone of a Swiss graveyard? This watch, the Breguet Classique Chronométrie 7727 answers this question – and resolutely. Breguet is here to play, and produce absolutely fascinating watches today. Let’s get into what I mean. the craziest aspect of this piece is the cut out of small running seconds hand 🙂

Mr Clowdee says:

I love it, from a conceptual standpoint, but I do find that the dial is too busy, and the 10Hz logo sticks out like a sore thumb. Beautiful piece though, all in all.

Wow that’s a beautiful watch. I also find the watch has an excellent size at 41mm with all those complications. One of the most unique watches I’ve seen!

Every time he says a watch is responsibly priced expect it to be in the $10,000.00 range. When he says inexpensive expect $5,000 and below; when he says expensive just forget it.

⌚See Video It Good Loove Thank You Big

10Hz on the dial that is ugly it makes it a Quartz watch. That is stupid.

You’re missing an “r” in the word “Chronometrie” in the title.
