A very rare 1831 Breguet pocket watch at Sotheby’s Important Watches auction held in Geneva

At the Important Watches auction held by Sotheby’s in Geneva, a very rare Breguet pocket watch of 1831 was put on sale. This super slim watch presents many complications for its time including an equation of time indication and it’s also a half quarter minute repeater, simply astonishing for its size!!!

I can’t believe this historic watch sold for only $900K when there are some new watches selling for $2m (granted those have a lot more complications as one would expect with modern technologies).
