thanks guys! great episode.
Have a Ref. 25920 on the way as we speak!
Audemars pigeut star wheel and cushion jump hour minute repeater? future collectability speculation?
Strong opener.
Any chance we can get the description updated with the watch reference numbers?
That perpetual calendar is so elegant and so perfect in terms of the proportions of subdials to the rest of the dial the size of the printing everything is perfect. An AP perpetual calendar in gold for less than 10k that’s crazy
That 25548 is beautiful.
Another great video, Tim! Recently came across the channel when Federico moved over (big fan of yours too, Fed) and have cannibalized the content. The depth and breadth of watch knowledge is amazing on this channel – really an unbelievable resource for watch collectors and enthusiasts. How does one go about writing to either of you? Thanks in advance and keep up the amazing work.
This is the best video of all the 70+ I have watched on your channel. It is informative and on point.
great video, and nice choice of watches – especially the Millenary. Thanks
Amazing selection Tim! Please do this for Vacheron and Patek as well.
An AP complication service cost?
I had no idea the royal oak was made with an annual calendar and in 36mm for small wrists. Such a great idea!
Thanks Tim. Who knew? – other than you. I learned a lot about AP.
Hi Tim, i am a huge AP Lover and my collection currently features two of them. Besides my 5402ST i also own an 14790ST. Regarding the military dial, to me, thats a NO-GO. It makes the watch look hilarious. You see prices dropping when a 14790 has a Military dial. IMHO all the Offshores wont go up in value, its kind of a trend, an overpriced watchtrend who isnt adored by the real royal oak enthusiasts. I’d look for a AP Perpetual Calendar as you’d recommend, maybe a well priced 14790 or a 15300 if you can get one under 11k. But my last and most important future collectible is the 5402 in BC or ST. These are still going for less thank 20k and i am sure these will skyrocket at one point just like the RLX Daytonas did.
PS. Please get rid of those glasses 😛
Haven’t heard of most of these models, thanks!
Great video Tim!!
Hello Tim,
Thank you for the great video.
I have had the Audemars Piguet Ref. 25548 mentioned in this video in my sights since i first heard you mention it in a previous episode. My question is, would this hold up as an everyday watch? I work in an office setting so it would not be getting banged up by any means.
I look forward to hearing from you!
My Best,
RIcardo
Appreciate the videos guys but maybe letting us know ahead of time so we dont stay up specifically, to tune in repeatedly would be an idea if you are going to bounce the scheduled streams. Thanks folks (from the UK)
Another great series TM, thanks.
Great vid. Listing the reference numbers would be useful.
Great idea Tim!
Please keep other brands coming.
Good job Tim, enjoyed the video as always …and the Dylan Thomas reference made me smile. One of my favourite poems.
Great video. I’m a huge AP fan and building a collection with multiple AP’s at the center. A Millenary may be my next purchase but the QP is on deck.
Great review of some fantastic APs. Please do this for JLC, Patek, Omega and IWC, that would be very interesting.
Any opinion on royal oak 15313 AL NABOODAH?
Tim,
I really appreciate this video. Ever since I acquired my AP with Eric’s assistance at WUW a few months ago; I’m becoming a huge AP fan especially Royal Oak of all styles. You’ve given me some good ideas should I decide to go further into AP.
Cheers
That sun ray pattern, where the center of it is the tourbillon, is just perfect
wow cant believe i’ve never seen anyone talking about that ultra thin tourbillon, it looks absolutely amazing!
